Dear authors,
The Third International Remote Sensing of Urban Areas will be held on 11-13 June 2002 in
İstanbul, Turkey. On behalf of the
Organizing Committee I am pleased to inform you that following papers were selected for presentation during an
ORAL session at this symposium.
We also would like to have your paper published in the symposium proceedings. To meet the publication deadline, your manuscript
(minimum 6, maximum 8 pages) must be received at the symposium secretariat on or before
26 April 2002 Friday.
It is strongly recommended that you make early reservations for flights, and advance register for the symposium. Detailed
information will be given in this WEB site.
We are looking forward to your significant contribution to a most successful symposium in
İstanbul.
*Authors wishing to have their paper also peer-reviewed for the Special Issue of International Journal of Remote Sensing should
send the manuscripts to the Symposium Secretariat in the format required for International Journal of Remote Sensing (different than
from that required for the proceedings, you may find required information in
Journal's WEB page:
http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/tf/01431161.html). The manuscripts will be first reviewed by the
International Scientific Committee of the Symposium and then selected papers
will be peer-reviewed by the reviewers. Please
send the manuscripts to the Symp. Secretariat before 03 June 2002 Monday.
* All oral papers can also be presented in POSTER form. Please inform the
Symposium Secretary if you wish to present your ORAL paper also in POSTER form.
Enough space will be available for you.
