Our mission:
Working Group addresses fundamental issues of
spatial data quality of spatial data handling and
geographic information science. This includes principles of spatio-temporal modeling, multiple representations of spatial
data, spatial reasoning, analysis, and data mining, spatial
planning and decision support systems, communication and
visualization, systems integration as well as quality aspects of
spatial data handling.
Terms of Reference:
-
Understanding uncertainties in spatial data
-
Quality control for spatio-temporal data
-
Modeling error propagation in spatial analysis
-
Presentation of quality information by metadata in GIS
-
